Wednesday, we’ll be celebrating the 1st anniversary of two awesome events: HOMEBASE WEDNESDAYS AND LICK! I’m a resident Homebase partygoer, and attended the last LICK w/J*Davey and sexy dancers…Either way, you can’t lose! Homebase will be celebrating with a show @ SOBs (204 Varick St. @ West Houston) with performances by Colin Munroe, The Kickdrums, Diz Gibran, Nyle and Melo-X; after-party will of course be at bObs! 235 Eldridge St. bet. Houston & Stanton. NO COVER/NO DRESS CODE/NO STRESS! The LICK anniversary show will take place at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker St. bet. Thompson & Sullivan) and will feature a performance by Zoe Kravitz & Elevator Fight!

Get your after-party on at 105 Rivington, where Christian Rich and GLC will be hosting a special night of good music! I went to the last party Christian Rich hosted at Sutra, and I hear over 400 people showed up! RSVP to

For those who want to start the party early, I suggest heading over to Crotona Park in the Bronx. They’ve been having legendary DJ’s spin in the park all month…this week is DJ Scratch! (his date got changed from last week)

Another big night: Theophilus London returns to NYC in grand style, with a performance at Webster Hall as part of the Diesel: U: Music Tour alongside The Roots, Drake and Passion Pit. The show is free; the only catch is that you have to head to one of the 3 Diesel stores in the city to get tickets, and you need to be wearing Diesel tickets.

The same night, I invite  you to check out a very special show, celebrating the birthday of the lovely TreZure the Empress! Head over to the Ha! Comedy Club at 8:30 pm to see her and her co-stars… 163 West 46th St. (bet. 6th & 7th Ave.)
