Happy 2010!

So I’ve been away from the blogging bit for a couple of weeks now… many thanks to all of you who still check for the kid, even when I’m not blogging up a storm! (Like Jinesis. LOL)

So happy that 2009 is gone, but I have to say that along with the struggles of the economy and whatnot, I was blessed to come in contact with many new people, and my career as a photographer was definitely kicked up a notch! My little event called Show & Tell is now a year old (first anniversary event coming later this month!), my photos were published in several magazines and a newspaper, not to mention countless blogs, sites and Twitter profiles =) – My name was mentioned in a song by Fresh Daily, I was in 2 music videos (3 if you count Push Montana – soon to be released); I was honored with the outro to Hi-Jynx’s fantastic mixtape, Music Monday; I was interviewed not once, but TWICE on PNC Radio! And the list goes on and on…

I’m currently attempting to compile a “2009 in Photos” but it’s proving to be tedious… Looking back on the pics, I am realizing how much I’ve actually shot this past year! Please bare with me…

2010 was brought in on a very positive note, and I’m definitely looking forward to growing as a person and as a photographer. My goals this year are:

  1. Finally get a website!
  2. Start learning Japanese
  3. Start travelling again, discovering new music and artists in other cities… Aiming for Providence, RI, Philly, DC, Miami and ATL! My dream is to follow an artist on tour… any takers?
  4. Putting out a calendar at the end of the year, like I’ve wanted to do for the past 2 years
  5. Make it to Europe for the first time in 5 years
  6. Continuing to grow the Show & Tell event, as well as expand on the back-to-school fundraiser I organized in August – GIVE BACK!
  7. Be less of a scatterbrain and procrastinator

I’m planning on adding new elements to this blog, like a featured person/group of the week and a photo of the week… Thank you to each and every one of you for all your encouragement, support, advice, kind gestures, etc… I’d be nothing without you!
