Hearts for Haiti @ Arena – 1.20.10
Last night I attended the Hearts for Haiti benefit event at Arena. Shouts to Mackenten Petion (MrFlashingLights.com) for asking me to shoot, to Gardy Guerrier and the entire host committee, to Mayor Bloomberg and Miss USA (Kristen Dalton) for coming and speaking, to Hennessey for sponsoring the event, to Martine Cauthen, a Haitian-American who moved to Haiti to teach and to the hundreds of beautiful people who came out to support such a heartfelt initiative! I hear they raised $19,000! Kudos to Rob Dnalsi as well, who made t-shirts worn by the staff.
