Friday night I was invited to the “Live At the Loft” concert series feat. Full Crate & Mar from Amsterdam… I had never heard of them before, but I completely trust TONE’s taste in music, as well as the homies Dee Phunk and Fresh Daily, who all spoke highly of them. On my way from the PATH train to the spot, I randomly played some songs by them on YouTube – fell in love…
With Full Crate on production and Mar on vocals, the Dutch duo mesmerized the packed loft with a fantastic set of some of their more familiar work “Conversations With Her” and “Mar Variations“, some covers, some acoustic songs (with Mar on guitar) and even some exclusive material from their upcoming project. I thoroughly enjoyed their performance and highly recommend that you check out their music!
